TI-API: Quote API - "endCustomerCompanyName not in the same sales area or blocked"

Good morning,

 In Quote API request, the end customer company name is a mandatory field (although it is irrelevant since only CM need to state end customer).

I tried to use the company name as the end customer name, but I got the above error message.

  • HI Eddie,

    correct endCustomerCompanyName should not be mandatory, we are working to correct that issue in our API in a future fix. Additionally, the error of not in same sales org or blocked seems to be another issue that we are reviewing this at this time. Please allow me time to investigate where the issue may be occurring, let me get back to you by Monday.  I apologize for the delay but need time to do a little digging into the issue.

  • Eddie, we have resolved the issue with this error, it does require end customer name but should not block or lock you out any longer.  Please try again with the quote and let us know if you are successful. we are working to allow the end customer to be optional but that is not yet in place.
