My Original Q:

I need to know that how to increase the size of packets? I am transmitting my own txt file information via a shell script. For smaller bit size it works fine. But when I increase the word count it doesn't receive properly. (I have 2 of them as tx and rx)

How to resolve that?

- What is the definition of "receive properly"? 

- Which RSSI level do you have when you do these tests?

- Which packet length do you use when you start getting issues? I assume that you have tried different packet lengths? 

- Are you running rfPacketTx - rfPacketRx? 

I am running rfEasyLinkNp project & flashed to the 2 launchpads for Tx - Rx with ATPxx  commands.

I need to send a HEX array of 100kb via padtx to padrx.

When file size is around bytes range it Trasnmit the full array. But when it is bigger errors came on. 

Thats why I think i need to increase the single packet size. I checked with making array chunks and it consumed a lot of time.

RSSI level is not the problem. devices are on the same table :D

What does "around bytes length" mean?

Max packet length using CMD_PROP_TX/ CMD_PROP_RX is 255 byte, for CMD_PROP_ADV_TX/ CMD_PROP_ADV_RX max packet length is 2047 byte meaning that if you want to transmit 100 kbps you have to send the hex array over multiple packets.

Note that with with packets close to maximum length will have high probability of packet errors over the air and increased need for re-transmits.

My goal is ti tx a100kb HEX array in less than 1min.

For this I would recommend using the rfPacketRx/ rfPacketTx examples and convert them to use the CMD_PROP_ADV_TX/ CMD_PROP_ADV_RX commands. With this example you will get a better overview of what's going on. 

Do you mean 100 kb or 100kB? 

As said, you should not make each packet with too large packet length. You want to transmit a large number of data and you want to avoid too many bit errors to avoid too many retransmits. When sending a file you should implement a protocol that ask for a retransmit if a received packet has bit errors to ensure that the file is transmitted correctly. 

It is 93.8 KB (96,061 bytes).

here it says "Maximum fixed packet-length is 65536 Bytes but you can also configure to have unlimited packet-length". should follow that thread?

How can I make changes in CMD_PROP_TX_ADV command using syscfg file?
