Hi Team,

My customer will use 2:2 independent mode with output DSI_PORT_SEL option.

So DSI port 0 would be output to Link lane 1 and DSI port1 would be output to Link lane0.

And T_skip setting should be set on each port respectively.

so My customer questioned ifT_skip setting for DSI port0 is also changed to port1 according to swap option.

e.g, if 27MHz input to DSI port 0 and output is Link lane1, customer need to set Tskip on DSI port1 not DSI port0??

I believe Tskip setting doesn't need to follow DSI_PORT_SEL option.

Could you pls confirm this??

Hello Harry,

TSKIP_CNT is always configured for the DSI port and does not change with DSI_PORT_SEL. That just selects which DSI port gets forwarded to which FPD output

Customer questioned how to calculate Tskip from input PCLK.

so I understand it as below.

Hello Harry,

Yes this looks correct - also note that the TSKIP_CNT reg field is shifted 1 bit to the left in the indirect register (which you can also see in the examples above)
