Is it allowed to power up VCCI and VCCP independently of each other  -  or is it necessary to observe a power up sequence?

    I've notified an expert to comment further, but I don't believe there are any power sequencing requirements on this device. I also wanted to make you aware of the TCA6416A device that is an updated version of the TCA6416.

    Hi Thomas,

    They can be powered independently though it would be best if you can power VCCI before VCCP. I've seen some cases prior where the ramp rate on VCCP powering up before VCCI could cause problems in extreme cases. (Slow ramp rate can cause problems.)
