Hello team,

I have received a question from my customer about the USB cross point switch TUSB1046-DCI.

My customer is searching for a device for the USB Type-C connector, and they listed TUSB1046-DCI as a cross point switch. so I want to check the specifications.

Is this device the proper cross point switch for USB devices that meet the following criteria? If there are better device for this usage, we would like to know it.

  • USB 3.1 Gen2 (10Gbps)
  • DisplayPort 1.4（Alternate mode）

    Hi Fukui-san,

    TUSB1046-DCI does support USB3.2 Gen 2 and DP alternate mode, please use GPN TUSB1046A-DCI. I would recommend looking into our latest generation TUSB1146 which also support he desired functions.

    Thank you for your confirmation.

    Since it seems suitable for this USB usage, I will suggest this device for their system.

    I will also introduce the latest TUSB1146 along with its new features, in order to search for new opportunity.
