it says

I am curious does 40 m cable is a normal standard or only DP83TG720R-Q1 can not meet 40m cable length ?

The 15M distance is based on the standards.

We have tested for > 15 meters and the device works.

The requirement is 15M as per the IEEE standard the device follows.

We have tested for longer lengths and we could discuss more one on one if you have some specific requirement.
