Hello Experts,

I would like to design UFP application to referred by TIDA-00891. I think that 3.3V rail is designed by VBUS, so it means 3.3V rail will be supplied after VBUS supplied. This delay will be affect USB SS recognition?

you are right, it's better to use separate power fupply for 5v and 3.3v.

You mean that TIDA-00891 have recognition issue of USB super speed when type-c connector installed? Or it will need to adjust turn on time of 3.3V rail to prevent recognition issue?

The system is UFP device, the power supply for the device is VBUS only. The 3.3V power supply should be generated from VBUS. So I suppose TIDA-00891 is a good reference of HD3SS3220 power supply(5V & 3.3V) rail generation.

I didn't mean TIDA00891 have recognition issue.

When you use Vbus to generate 5v and 3.3v , pls. make sure to meet power on reset sequence on page 18 of datasheet to avoid back drive issue.
