TCA6424A: ADDR pin internal status

Hello Expert,

I have questions regarding TCA6424A's ADDR pin.

I understood this pin should be used as connecting VDD or GND.
However, I'd like to know about what will happen when this pin is floating by some trouble. Would you tell me it?
Also, Is there any internal pull-up/down resister in IC?

Hi Kazuki-san,

The address pins are not referenced internally. If the addr pin is left floating then the device's address can change intermittently during operation if the pin picks up noise either from the environment or from the board and may also cause higher supply current draw since the CMOS inputs can float to mid rail.
