TCAN1057A-Q1: Is 8 pin active high or active low

Hi team

Is the 8th pin of TCAN1057A-Q1 active high or active low? From the diagram, I could not recognize it active high or active low, but from the description, it is internally pulled up, so is it low effective? Or is it the default silent mode from the initial stage?

    Zirui,

    The S pin is active high, so a logic high signal will put the device into Silent mode. The intention of the internal pull-up is in case the connection to pin 8 gets disconnected mid application, the device will go into silent mode and ultimately be in a known mode that won't effect the CAN bus.
