TPD7S019: usage of emi filters and termination resistors

hey,

According to comx carrier board specification that i am using , the termination resistor on video lines(RGB) is 150R. But in TPD7S019 datasheet i found that, the termination resistance must be 50R to75R.Please find page no:103 in the attached link, https://www.kontron.com/download/download?filename=/downloads/white_papers/picmg_comdg_2.0-released-2013-12-06.pdf&product=89380.let me know if i can use anyone of them. And according to comx carrier board specification, all video lines must be provided with EMI filters. Is it okay to use all of those filters with TPD7S019 .

Hi，

The termination resistor is defined Rt as Figure 6 shows. That means is not related with you mentioned 150R. It does matter that add EMI filters.

hi,

That 150R is the value of termination resistor according COMX carrier design reference manual. The link is attached above. But Rt=50R-75R is the value according to the datasheet.

Rt is not in series in data line, is as to ground.
