Hello TI,

My system has 3x RS-422 interface and only one D-sub 9 pin connector in there.

So, I need a 3:1 switch. Could you recommend suitable items for me?

What voltage (high and low) and frequencies will you be working with?

Hi Rami,

Basically we are follow the EIA/TIA-422 specification.

The each max. voltage of Rx and Tx are +/-10V and +/-6V. And the max. operating speed is 10Mbps.

Young-in,

We won't have a 3:1 switch that can support negative voltages. The closest would be a 1 channel 4:1 and your data speeds aren't considerably high so you can just leave the last input floating. The TMUX6104 is a good option. It supports up to ±16.5 V voltage with a dual supply and low on capacitance (~5pF typ)
