Hello,

I'm using two DP83TD510E-EVM for testing SPE. I'm testing cable diagnostic but I can't perform TDR.

I'm using the test procedure as per SNLA364A but I'm confused about the registers setting compared with DP83TD510E datasheet (I can't find registers used in SNLA364A  in the datasheet registers table).

Anyway, I go on with the SNLA364A scripts with cable open or shorted but in both cases setting register 001E to 8000 always read 0003 (setting register 001E to 4000 read 4003)... Reading register 030C is always 0000.

Is it correct to read bits [0] in 001E to 1b as per comment in script 

or have I to read 0b as per register table?

What's wrong in my procedure?

    The document provides details on the registers used.

    You will have to follow the below procedure to read the registers.

    7.5 Programming DP83TD510E provides an IEEE defined register set for programming and status. It also provides an additional register set to configure other features not supported thru IEEE registers. 7.6 MMD Register Address Map

    DP83TC811 for additional information on extended register usage.
