TLK10022: TLK10022 best REF CLK value

Part Number: TLK10022

Hello everyone,

Using LNK10022, I want to aggregate bunch of "4 low speed streams each at 1.8Gbps" and make "faster data streams at 7.2Gbps".

Based on below calculation I can use a REF CLK between [150-360] MHz.

According to the datasheet, copied below, the highest REF CLK is the best to use but I have a synthesizer chip that don't want to change it and it can go up to 320MHz.

Just to double check, is it fine to use 300MHz for this use case instead of the highest possible which is 360MHz considering the overall link quality?

Regards,

Reza
