TPD6S300: Configure the TPD6S300 using the PD Controller TPS65988

Dear Sir,

We are going to connect the TPD6S300 to PD Controller TPS65988 on I2C interface. Shall we be able to configure the TPD6S300 using the PD Controller TPS65988?

And its output will be used to generate the rest for the PD controller. Please confirm.

Hello,

The TPD6S300 does not need to be configured for operation. Once power is supplied to the device, it will protect the system from overvoltage and ESD events that take place on the Type-C connector
