EVM is not recognized in "ALP".
step1. Not recognized by "ALP".
step2. I checked that the USB was not recognized in "Device Manager". (Check the USB port as well)
step3. The board is normally connected.
step4. I tried to update the firmware by installing the MSP430 you answered, but it says "no device connected".
step5. If you press and hold the s3 button, "unknown usb device (device descriptor request failed)" is displayed in the device manager.

Can you try as follows: "Hold s3 button down, then remove and reconnect 12V supply (J36). That should you get into firmware update mode as below
Then you choose "Select Firmware" and browse to location
C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\Analog LaunchPAD v1.57.0010\Drivers\i2c_controllers\usb2any\Firmware
You will see one file "USB2ANY_2_7_0_0.txt". Use that to reprogram.
Few other things to check:
a) Make sure you have the latest ALP framework and also ALP-PROFILE-UPDATE (v10) installed from TI.com
b) Please also check following link and make sure all the jumpers and switches on the EVM are correctly configured
