THVD2450: Pulse skew vs temperature, aging

Part Number: THVD2450

Hi,

We want to use the THVD2450 in one of our project. Pulse skew is a critical parameter in this application.
Does TI has any figure that shows typical Pulse skew vs Temperature charateristics? Does MAX value include full temperature range?
How does aging affects Pulse skew parameter?

Best regards,

Patrick

  • Patrick,

Thanks for bringing these questions to E2E.

In terms of a figure, I don't have something that I can find right now, though we may have this in some other RS485 datasheets. The max value in the datasheet does indeed include the full characterization temperature range, and when looking at the raw characterization data, in a lot of cases higher temp means larger skew, but that's not always the case. It's more heavily affected by the supply voltage.

    Regards,
