Do we need to control impedance of the CAN BUS traces ? If yes what is the impedance value ?

Viny,

It is recommended to match the impedance to 60 ohms, since that is what the intended CAN bus impedance is meant to be.

Hi Eric,

Is it single ended 60 ohms ? in some article i found differential 120ohms

That is correct, on a CAN bus there will be 120 ohm termination resistors between CANH and CANL on both ends of the bus, creating 60 ohms overall bus impedance due to both resistors being in parallel.
