Hi team,

My customer is evaluating a 8x8 crosspoint solution for SDI signal. They will design a board with SN65LVCP408 and LMH0387 as below shows. The inputs and output to this board are coaxial cables of one meter long. Do you think if this system would work as wanted? Any risk? If there are any better solutions, you could show me as well.

    Hi Jerry,

    Block diagram you've shown should work. 

    To further improve and get a better signal quality/cable reach, you can replace LMH0387 on the right hand side with LMH0397 - this part has integrated retimer and provides a much cleaner output signal.
