    This schematic looks good. My only recommended change is to include 0-ohm resistors between the crystal oscillator (Y2) and the TCAN4550. This will provide an option to tune the oscillator circuit with series resistances if necessary. By default they can remain 0-ohms. 

    3. Detailed descriptions of the device pins can be found in section 8.3 of the datasheet. For summary details, you may review this E2E thread which covers each digital pin function briefly. 

    4. The WAKE input is a referenced to battery level voltage and should not be connected directly to the MCU in this configuration. An external FET as shown in the document is a good solution for this. 

    5. Local wake up (LWU) occur via the WAKE pin. A wake up pattern (WUP) describes the required activity on the CAN bus that would cause the transceiver to wake from sleep mode. See the datasheet section 8.4.3 on Sleep mode for more info on these wake sources.
