Hello,
For a two port USB-C PD (DFP, USB 3.1, data and 5/9/15/20V power) system with a TPS65988 USB controller, what is the best mux to use if the USB-C peripheral device is using a display port? Is alternate mode necessary? If the peripheral device does not use a display port what is the optimal mux to use? Are these muxes compatible with USB 2.0? If not, can you please recommend a mux. Below is a chart where I am getting some of my initial information from.
