Hello experts,

As far as I know, we are able to communicate with DS90UxXXX products using the I²C bus of the USB2ANY and have control over them through the ALP GUI.
By any means, is there a way to do the same thing using SPI since USB2ANY supports it.

Hello Mohammed,

None of the released DS90Uxxxx products support SPI as the control interface for the device. Some devices such as DS90Ux94x have support for SPI pass through, but that can not be used to access device registers in the serializer or deserializer

Hello Mohamed,

Technically yes but it is easier to interface with the FPD devices using the Analog LaunchPad SW since there is a full SW GUI and easy tools to run scripts or other configurations in the graphical interface which is designed around specific devices
