DP83849C: Differences between DP83849I and DP83849C

Due to the supply shortage issue of DP83849I, my customer is going to use DP83849C. What are the differences between these devices?

Thank you for the query.

The pin assign differences of DP83849C and DP83849I are,

Pin56 ( I version has Extender_EN function, but C version does not.)

Pin72-76 ( I version : JTAG function, C version: reserved, must be left unconnected)

If your question is can customer use DP83849C instead of DP83849I, answer ok to use.

We have had customer using this configuration.

Thank you for your prompt reply. I understood the differences on pin assign.

Are there any differences regarding the electrical specification? Ta for I version is -40 to +85 degC while Ta for C version is 0 to +75 degC. Anything else?

Other than what you mentioned, and the ones i have mentioned you there should be any difference in specifications that would stop you from using the C device.
