Hello Team,

I have question about PCLK output of DS90UB934-Q1.

Q. Is there any requirement for the input impedance of the load in order to impedance matching?

Q. Is it acceptable to deliver the PCLK for more than 2 loads(so there is one stub) if the impedance is matching?

Hi Yuta,

The datasheet specifically calls out ROUT[11:0] should be routed through a controlled 50Ohm path. I think it would probably be good to do this with all DVP signals. It should be possible to route DVP signals to multiple loads but would negatively affect signal quality. Probably would be best to find another solution if possible.

Hello Nick,

Thank you. So I understood the output impedance of 934 is almost 50ohm.

Do you know the 933's input impedance as well?

This is because Customer uses 934(PCLK output) => PCB trace => 933(PCLK input)

Hello

PCLK going into 933 also need to be routed through a controlled 50 ohm trace on the PCB
