Hi,

When I launch ALP as admin the program is not starting and I get no errors messages. I am running it on Windows 10.

Rob,

This looks like some kind of install issue. Please help check following:

a) Did you install both ALP framework utility and ALP Profile update (v10) from the following link in that order?

ALP profile update has latest fixes and updates to the framework so it is important both are installed and profile update is installed after framework.

b) Could you double check you have full admin rights for the PC? I am wondering if some security software blocked installation of required dlls in the alp install folder. From ALP install folder, could you check in command prompt what's the number of files and folders you see when you run 'dir' command? See below

c) Could you share what's your windows10 edition and configuration?

Regarding item (b) above, for a clean new install you might see fewer files (184) than my development folder (191). Please share a screen shot of that if possible. Thanks, Vishy

I checked with a clean install: 178 files is correct (I had some development files)

Did you try a clean install? Is ALP starting or you still having issue?

Rob,

Do you still get the Faulting Application issue? Please share if you get the updated info. Last time it was faulting on module wxmsw26uh_vc.dll. Do you see that file in ALP install folder as below after clean install?

I was hoping clean install would help your case.

Did you try installing on a different PC?
