SN65MLVD203B: SN65MLVD203B max clock frequency

SN65MLVD203B can support clock up to 100MHz. Our application operates at 100MHz. However if including frequency drift due to the operating temperature, we expect to the clock to be slightly above 100MHz. Is it recommended to operate slightly above the upper limit? Does TI have frequency response of this part around 100MHz?

Hi,

Max supported data rate is 200Mbps (100MHz clock) for the SN65MLVD203B, we can't guarantee anything if the data rate is outside the device spec. Any chance you can use a MLVDS part that can support higher data rate?

Hi David,

We look for a device that can operate up to +125C and SN65MLVD203B is the only device that I found. The concern is that SN65MLVD203B can only operate up to 100MHz. Other devices that support higher max rate can only operate up to +85C only. Do you have any other part recommendations?

For 125C MLVDS solution, we have the 203B and 204B, but 203B max data rate is 200Mpbs and 204B is 100Mbps.
