    At first, we need to make sure the schematic and pcb design are correct.

    So, we need to make sure that we can find the DP83TG720R chip and make sure that its connection to TDA4 is correct.

You could do a quick link-up check, connect one PHY to another and see if link is observed in register 0x1. We will review your schematic and be able to provide feedback by Thursday of next week.

    Maybe we should see whether DP83TG720R-Q1 will be found in our customized TDA4 board using MDIO.

    the DP83TG720R-Q1 is connected to CPSW9G in TDA4, Can we access the MDIO of CPSW9G using MDIO command in uboot or Linux running in A72.

    Now we can access the registers of DP83TG720R through MDIO of CPSW9G, but we still can not use the RGMII5 of CPSW9G. How can we use it? How to modify the code in SDK8.0?

Hi Sreenivasa,

    We use "ping" command to verify the RGMII5 of CPSW9G, we can not ping OK to our PC using a box converting automotive eth to comman eth in our customized TDA4 board.

    We want to not use the box, we want to simply the verify method and tool, is there a tool to verify the RGMII5 communication in board itself, like loopback self-test.
