Hi Team,

I understand from the other E2E thread that the TS3USB221 can be use for MIPI. However, since the TS3USB221 is designed for differential signal, our customer would like to confirm if it can be use as MUX for UFS MIPI clock signal. If it is possible, he wants to know how to deal with the D- pin.

Hi Brian,

According to our customer, the rate of MIPI they will use is 11.6Gbps. The multiplexer for MIPI TX/RX signal that they are going to use is TMUXHS4212. Here are the schematic diagram and block diagram to explain how they will use the multiplexer.

Hi Brian,

According to our customer, the 0 ohm resistors R39298 and R39299 are just for backup solution. If the mux chip circuit will not work, they can bypass the mux IC and solder the resistor on the board for basic function test. Is the TS3USB221 suitable for their application?

The frequency of UFS MIPI clk signal is 26MHz or 52Mhz. The CLK is from host controller and the parameter is as figure. Thanks.

VCCQ: 1.2V。
