TUSB217A-Q1: Unable to perform CDP handshake

Part Number: TUSB217A-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB217-Q1, TUSB217A

Dear TI Application Team,

Thank you for your support.

We are using the TUSB217A-Q1 to perform HS signal conditioning and to configure the port as a CDP.

We seem to be unable to perform CDP handshake upon connection of a BC 1.2-compatible device. The oscilloscope analysis on the DP / DM pins shows no signs of charging protocol negotiation, resulting in the device current being limited to 500 mA, as per SDP standard.

I was wondering what debug actions we could take to resolve the issue.

Regards,

Giuseppe
