in TUSB2E22EVM-CAT schematic pad C3 is connected via SW2 switch

what is the purpose of this SW2 switch?

is it allow to short this pin to GND?

    Hi Tamir,

    These EVM designs are also used for TI internal lab testing, not just customer evaluation.  This ability to short C3 was added for lab testing only.  For normal operation, the pin should be connected to 1.8V.
