In Figure 10 and Figure 14 of the datasheet, sx is SCL and sy is SDA, but correctly, sx is SDA and sy is SCL as shown in Pin Configuration and Functions.
Please confirm.

Thanks for reaching out! Please note that Sx and Sy are identical buffers, so either can be used as SDA/SCL. See the below E2E question for additional confirmation:
