Hi,

I am new to this concept of Serializing and deserializing the data.

So, please forgive me if my question is stupid.

I needed to know, if it is possible to interface a MIPI CSI-2 camera with DS92LV0421, and deserialize the output, via DS92LV0422, and then give it to the IPU?

Hello Arun,

DS92LV0421 is an LVDS serializer so it can not accept CSI-2 input. We do not have any solution in our portfolio for taking CSI-2 as an input and providing LVDS as an output (like what DS92LV0422 does). So this type of translation would need to have a video processor/MCU/FPGA in the middle to convert the CSI-2 data into an LVDS stream which typically uses RGB color space so that input could go to DS92LV0421 and then eventually to DS92LV0422.
