TCAN4550-Q1: Autosar driver

Part Number: TCAN4550-Q1

Hello Experts,

My customer would like to get an "AutoSAR Driver". A following User Guide stated below comments.
https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/sllu270/sllu270.pdf
"Texas Instruments provides the necessary ECU abstraction layer driver source code necessary to integrate the TCAN45xx into an AutoSAR environment. Contact TI to get the source code."

1. How to get a source code for AutoSAR? Is this a following one on TI.com?
https://www.ti.com/lit/zip/sllc469

2. This driver is free? Also what is a disclaimer of this driver?

Best Regards,
Fujiwara

  • Hi Fujiwara-san,

Yes, the demo from the store page includes drivers for this device. These drivers may be used to abstract the higher-level functions of the device for integration with an application layer.

Each file in the demo contains its relevant disclaimer. There is no charge for using this code. We promote the software as a development tool which is not meant for production-level use as we do not provide warranties or direct support for it.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

  • Hi Eric-san,

Which driver is for AutoSAR? Would you please tell an exact file name?

    Best Regards,
    Fujiwara

  • Hi Fujiwara-san,

The TCAN4x5x folder contains the drivers for the device itself. They allow the abstraction of lower-level functions of the device for integration with existing software.

For how to use and integrate autosar itself, I am less familiar. I'll send an installer to your email in case that is the solution you're looking for.
