Hi team,

My customer would like to test the consistency of the SFI interface by sending the PRBS codes through DS100DF410.

The customer tried the following methods, but did not send the PRBS code correctly (prompt Clock recovery lost lock) .

Could you please help confirm if there was a problem with the following methods? Thanks!

    Hi,

    The Ti retimer by default will not generate PRBS output if there is not input data present for its CDR to lock to.

    • Please confirm there is a valid reference input signal to the retimer channel. This signal would need to be a subrate multiple of either 1.25Gbps or 10.3125Gbps
