Hi team,

My customer are planning a 32" 8K 120P Pro Monitor, which requires 8 channels 12G_SDI inputs and 8 channels 12G_SDI inputs. 
Because they are not familiar with this kind of design of 12G_SDI, so they need our help with suggestions and experience. 
They just see LMH1297 datasheet but not sure is this right device or not?
So can you help to provide suitable solution and design guideline for them?

    Hi Paul,

    LMH1297 is a suitable device for this application. Another part they can consider is LMH1219 - both of these devices are 12G SDI equalizers. Data sheets for these devices are on TI.COM. Typically chapter 9 or 10 of the data sheet discusses design guidelines. EVM schematics are on the secured folder. Please send us customer email address through TI internal email so we can provide access to these documents.
