DS250DF410: How to calculate PPM tolerance of DS250SD410.

Part Number: DS250DF410
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS125DF410

 Hi Team,

Please advise me on my question, on how to calculate PPM tolerance of DS250SD410.

I suppose that, focusing on VCO1, the registers 0x61 and 0x60 record VCO count

value and 0x67 bit 7 and 0x64 bit7:4 store the tolerance.

Q1. Does the following equation indicate the PPM tolerance of the input data rate?

       PPM tolerance = { (Value in 0x67 bit 7 and 0x64 bit7:4) / (Values in 0x61 and 0x60) } x 10 **6

Q2. Is the maximum value you can program into the register (0x67 bit 7 and 0x64 bit7:4), 0x1f?

Q3.Are the values in register (0x67 bit 7 and 0x64 bit7:4) ignored, when DS250410 is used

       in standard data rate mode?
