My customer has a design where they have to connect two FPGAs via 2 lines at 300 Mbit. They like to use LVDS buffers and are looking at:
DS90LV001 800-Mbps LVDS buffer
DS25BR100 3.125-Gbps LVDS buffer with transmit pre-emphasis and receive equalization
SOP for this project is 2024 to remain in production till min. 2034, therefore they are concerned about the longevity / lifecycle of the above products.
Is one of the above a better choice regarding longevity ?
Or would you recommend another / more recent device ?
