SN65HVD251-Q1: Alternate part for medical application

Part Number: SN65HVD251-Q1

Hi Experts,

Good day. Would like to ask your assistance.

Client is looking an alternative for 5V-CAN transceiver which is ISO-11898 certified for medial application: SN65HVD251QDRQ1. They can adjust with the layout so they consider any SMT package as long as they are automotive qualified.

I have this (LINK) three filtered devices. Can you confirm which among them is appropriate? Or any suggestion would help.

    Hi Archie,

    For switching to a more modern 5V 8-pin CAN transceiver, I would recommend TCAN1044A. This device is fully compliant with the newest version of ISO 11898 and the 'Q1' version is automotive qualified. While this and similar transceivers currently show no inventory in stores, they are our primary focus for manufacturing and optimal for securing longer-term supply.

    Sorry for reopening again this case. We do appreciate this recommendation.

    I don't know if this the right forum for this next query but client asked when are this part become available?

    Any idea for the closest possible time? They will be needing tens of thousand of this quantities.
