Dear all,

I'm facing a problem with FULL HD video source test.

Could you please let me know how to run FULL HD video source (1920 x 1080, 60fps) using DS90UB949A-Q1EVM and DS90UB948-Q1EVM.

I'm trying to check whether FULL HD video source run with the evaluation system shown in the attached image.

With this evaluation system, I was able to get the video on the display, but the HD video (1280 x 720) is displayed instead of the FULL HD video (1920 x 1080, 60fps).

Already referred to DS90UB949 Datasheet, Section "8.4.2.2 Dual Link Operation", but current situation shows that the system may not be automatically configured in dual link mode.

Hi AG,

The default EDID has a 720p. In ALP, did you try to load the EDID with a 1080p configuration prior to connecting the EVM? See attached screenshot for reference.

Following your advice, I tried loading the EDID with a 1080p configuration by using ALP, and was able to get the FULL HD video on the display.
