Hi.

We use one TUSB2036 with two TUSB2046 to build a 8 port HUB. We see both TUSB2046 from our µC trough the TUSB2036. But when we try to connect a device, we are not able to setup the conversation. See attached picture, this is the DP signal. And in idle, the line shows 100mV.

Please give us som advices.

Hi Jan-Petter,

A few comments:

The TUSB2046Bs should have BUSPWR set to low. Otherwise the host controller may disable downstream ports based on the expected USB current budget.

I don't see the 1.5K pullups on DP lines of the TUSB2046Bs connected to the TUSB2036, these need to be there.

I don't see the 15K pulldowns on the downstream ports, except for port 7, these also need to be there for normal operation.

Thanks for your reply. We discovered the low buspwr, and have changed them. Also the 1.5k pullups are put in. All the pulldowns are on sheet 2.
