DS90UB954-Q1: [DS90UB9702-Q1] How to force the INTB be asserted which triggered by data lane or clk lane short to GND of CSI-2 port0 ?

Part Number: DS90UB954-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS90UB9702-Q1, TEST

Hi receiver,

This is question related to DS90UB9702-Q1 for you noticed first.

We are conducting the fault injection plan/test to fulfill client safety mechanism verification.

One is relate to SerDes CSI interface, it is intended to make unexpected CSI-2 port 0 something abnormal such as forcing data lane or clock lane short to GND. The INTB supposed to be asserted caused by this unexpected event happen to ensure host can detect this abnormal then go for further remediation action.

Unfortunately, our test cannot lead us to have this assumption happen as below illustration. (INTB cannot be triggered and keeps high still)

Our main purpose to learn “ How to force the INTB be asserted which triggered by data lane or clk lane short to GND of CSI-2 port0 ?"

BR,

  • Hello,

Unfortunately, I cannot discuss anything regarding FPD-LINK IV devices in the public forum.  Please reach out to your local TI sales associate for support regarding 9702 and have them submit questions internally.
