Hi Team

Is there any way to confirm that the data sent by the TXD RXD of the TCAN1043 to the SOC is OK?

  • Hi Kygo,

This would be more of a property of the CAN protocol than the specific transceiver used. After a CAN frame is received by a CAN controller, it will send an acknowledge dominant bit on the bus to tell the transmitter that the frame was received without issue. If the transmitter does not see this ACK bit, it can assume that its transmission was not properly received by any target.

Does this sound like what is being asked in this case?
