Hi Team

The following parameters are the Timming that customer want to generate using the Pattern Generator inside the DS90UB925Q1.

If we want to set DS90UB925Q1 through ALP. What(Where) are those registers of ALP under I2C and those content values of the registers?
Could you please help me provide the data and tell me where to set so I can set it directly? THX

Hi Kygo,

There are on the lower right hand side inside the Internal Timing panel. There is a scroll wheel that will reveal the rest of the parameters.

How could we do ?

Hi Kygo,

Thanks for the clarification. Please see the attached App Note for PatGen set-up. These registers are on the PatGen indirect page, and are accessed via the indirect access address (PGIA) and data (PGID) control registers.

Can you attach their script they are using and I can give it a glance? What is the problem they are having, black screen, flickering screen, etc?

Hi Kygo,

No problem, give me a day or two and I'll get you feedback on the schematic. Is this the project they are trying to get the patgen up on and you looking for anything out of place? Or is this a different/new project?

Yes, we are trying to get the patgen up at this project!

And I have found a bug of 926 SCH first , SDA & SCL upside down......

But need you double confiem 925 &926 SCH ,THX

Hi Kygo,

Yes, that will be an issue. I will review the schematic and let you know if anything else looks off. They have already built hardware of this schematic, and that is what they are testing? Is this initial bring-up of this hardware?

Hi Kygo,

Does BIST EN pin on DES schematic have one of its resistors DNP?

In order to debug further, the following items would be needed:

Any scripts/register config customer is programming
Register dumps of the Ser and Des
Is customer getting a link lock between the SER and the DES? (GM_LOCK pin on DES)
Description of issue (black screen when attempting PatGen, etc)
