I am planning to use the Passive Mux/DeMux (TMUXHS4412) in conjunction with DS160PR412/DS160PR421 to split PCIe traffic from a Host PC to 4x SSDs.
Can you confirm my understanding that the Coupling Caps are only needed to isolate Active Devices, as shown in diagrams below?
Leading to MUXHS4412 being correctly biased on one side only.
TX; Host to SSD End points
RX; SSDs back to Host
