Hi Team,

Customer wants to use internal PRBS Generator, but cannot make it work through USB2ANY.

They confirm communication is good, they can successfully read/write.

May I know the correct procedure to do it?

    Hi Andrew,

    Are they using SigCon Architect?  If so, the procedure is as follows:

    1) Connect to EVM

    2) Go to High Level Page

    3) Go to PRBS Gen/Checker Tab

    4) Select PRBS pattern type and then click "Enable"

    The customer also needs to have a signal going into the appropriate channel of the device because the device requires CDR lock to generate PRBS pattern.  The device can lock to actual data, or it can lock to a subrate clock signal.  For example, if the customer is trying to generate 25.78125 Gbps PRBS pattern, they can input a 1.611328125 GHz clock (25.78125 / 16).
