Hi team,

My customer would like to know all I2C in PD controller are used and how to use PD controller to control HD3SS460.

they follow our HD3SS460 design, but they don't know how to connect POL / AMSEL / EN to PD controller.

attached file is customer schematic, could you please give some suggestion on that, thanks.

Hello,

POL would be the Cable Orientation Event

AMSEL would be AMSEL Event

EN would be DP Mode Selection Event

Section 3.36.2 in the link below should help answer most of the GPIO event questions

Hi Christodulos,

So my customer need to use empty GPIO and set this event in PD controller. am I correct?

can they use GPIO 18 19 21 to do it?
