TSER953: Is there any limitation on the resolution of sensor when using TDES954 and TSER953?

Hi team,

1. Customer want to apply TSER953 in sensors with different resolution, like 720p, 800*600,1500*1000. Can this device compatible with these non-standard sensors?

2. There are 4 lanes in TSER953, if just use one lane, which lane should be connected? Or it can be defined by software?

Hello,

1. Yes the TSER953 is capable of working with any resolution as long as the throughput constraints are met.

2. You should use data lane 0.

1. For TSER953, if the sensor has 2 lane MIPI, how to connect it with TSER953? which lanes?

2. For TDES954, which lane should be connected if just use 1 lane connection?

Hi Matthew,

You should just start with data lane 0 and work you way up. If just using 1 lane then use lane 0 if using 2 lanes then use lane 0 and 1.
