Does TUSB216-q1 have circuits inside it to emulate the primary and secondary detection needed in CDP based on BC1.2?
The reason i am asking is , the USB host in our project supports CDP charging profile where as our silicon does not support CDP charging profile.
So can we place TUSB216-Q1 in between USB host and our silicon and drive CDP_ENZ pin to low for CDP charging, so that it will emulate the primary and secondary detection needed for CDP and this way host will think that device supports CDP charging and provided higher current to charge the battery inside our system
