LMH1219: Power consumption at 270M

Part Number: LMH1219

We are using the LMH1219 to recover ASI data and a 1x 270M clock.  Is there an operating power at this 270M frequency?  Ideally for single supply 2.5V operation.   The datasheet only lists operating power at 12G.

  • Hi Andy,

When device sees signal detect, it does not know what data rate is coming in. Therefore current consumption at this point - acquiring lock -  is the same between different data rates. On the other hand, when we are locked at SD or other rates current consumption is within 10mW of the 12G data rate. Device VCO is running at the same frequency no matter what data rate is coming in and output drivers consumption differs by small amount(about 10mW).
