Hi team,

Our customer is looking for TCAN1044AV-Q1 evaluation board for some test. I only found TCAN1042DEVM as pin to pin compatible with TCAN1044AVDRQ1.

Is it ok to replace TCAN1042 on the EVM with TCAN1044AVDRQ1 for evaluation?

    Hi Muwei,

    Yes, the TCAN1042EVM is compatible with the TCAN1044A family of devices (and any other 8-pin CAN transceiver from TI). Both EVM and device should be ordered and the included TCAN1042 device swapped out in order to evaluate the TCAN1044A.
