TPS65987D: PD FW setting for HD3SS460

Part Number: TPS65987D
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: HD3SS460

Hi team,

in the previous E2E post, I ask about how to set GPIO event for HD3SS460.

https://e2e.ti.com/support/interface-group/interface/f/interface-forum/1083992/tps65987d-connect-to-hd3ss460

Chris told me I can use these GPIO event for HD3SS460.

Now, my customer board come back and test it, the monitor can't display. so I would like to know does this issue related to PD GPIO event setting?

because my customer follow below reference design to draw the circuit, I think the schematic is good.

for my customer 987DJ schematic,

is any GPIO setting issue in their system? I also find the GPIO 7 also use the port 1 DP mode select event, this is the same as GPIO 21, is it ok with that?

GPIO 18 : port 1 cable orientation event
GPIO 19 : port 1 AMSEL event
GPIO 21 : port 1 DP mode select event

GPIO 7 : port 1 DP mode select event

and I also ask my customer to measure these GPIO.  I don't understand why GPIO 7 and GPIO 21 are different, it doesn't make sense to me, because both are using port 1 DP mode select event.
